SHOAL CREEK
Died, June 21st, 1901, Herbert, infant son of Mrs. And Mrs. William Bell, aged 2 months and 2 days.
God in his infinite wisdom has visited this home time after time and taken from its number five precious ones; but thanks be to His hold name He has taken those that were ready to go and had nothing to fear and while we know that little Herbert will be greatly missed we can realize that he has gone where he does not need the protection of fond parents for Christ himself doth rule and while sympathizing with the bereaved ones in this hour of trial we can commend them to God who is too wise to err.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Skaggs at the home, after which the remains were laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
