Sarah's sister Talithia Jane Choate was the first wife of William N (Nite? -- his mother's maiden name) Smith. Talithia died 1 Feb 1894, 3 days after her son, William "Arthur" Smith was born (28 Jan 1894). Sarah then married William and in 1897 had a son with William--Homer Johnson Smith. William N "Billy" "Will" Smith is said to have left about the time this younger son was born and was never seen again by the family (though he appears to have returned to Leon County in 1950, where he died in 1953. He is buried in the Sardis Cemetry at Jewett (Leon County), TX, where Sarah is also buried.) Sarah, her Smith son, Homer and Smith nephew, William Arthur were censused the her parents, William James & Missouri Ann Choate in Limestone County in 1900. According to the 1910 Leon County, TX census, Sarah married her second husband, the widowed William Laningham Gressett in 1908. He died in 1915, and she died in 1920, before the 1920 census.
