Pauline (Mooney) Seaman, 84, a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, died Monday, May 7, 2001 at Parkside Care Center.

She was born Oct. 16, 1916 to William and Virgie (Hastings) Wells at Myron, AR where she was raised and attended school.

On Dec. 24, 1934, she married Cleo Mooney at Ash Flat, AR where they made their home until moving to the Wenatchee Valley in 1953. Mr. Mooney died June 7, 1968.

She then married Herb Kinkade in Wenatchee. Due to illness, Mr. Kinkade died in 1972.

On Sept. 11, 1976, she married Donald Seaman in Wenatchee where they made their home. Following Mr. Seaman's death on April 6, 1979, she continued to live in the Wenatchee Valley.

For many years, Pauline cooked at Deaconess Hospital and the Eye & Ear Clinic before retiring.

Family and friends were important to Pauline. She was a very loving and caring person.

She is survived by three sons, Bill Mooney, East Wenatchee, Dale Mooney, Connell and Art Mooney, Lake Wenatchee; two brothers, Stacy Wells and Tillman Wells, both of Wenatchee; two sisters, Evelyn Britts, Spokane and Wilma Estes, Ash Flat, AR; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Daniel Wells in 1958.

A Funeral Service will be held at Telford's Chapel of the Valley, Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Buddy Ellis officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Wenatchee Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to Alzheimer's Research Program.

Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
