Eliza's first husband is Abram Hartsell, married on June 7, 1853 in Lapeer, Michigan. They had two sons, Elgin (1856-1920) and Henry (1859-1877). Not much is known about Abram, but he was born between 1827-1837. The barely legible age on his marriage document appears to say he is 24. That would put his birth abt 1829. I believe he was born in Canada, but I'm finding another Abram who could be him (abt the same age), in Cass County, MI, born in Ohio. It is unknown if he died, or abandoned his family to start a new life.
Eliza's second husband is William Quackenbush of Ontario, Canada (1823-1907), married on June 14, 1863. They had 4 children, all born in Michigan. Leonard (1864-1936), William (1865-1867), Delilah (1867-1892) and Ralph (1869-1870)
