Born in New York to Harmany/Henry & Margaret (?) Hagedon. They name evolved to Hagadone, and then eventually for this line, to Haggadone. One of his grandsons, Eber (Richard’s son), used the Hagadone spelling, as did most/all of George’s siblings/nephews in Western Michigan and St Clair County.
Marriage to Nancy Monk abt 1825 New York. Their first few children were born there, and then they moved into Canada. They moved on to Michigan between 1852 and 1860.
Nancy died before 1870, and George presumably died before 1880. I believe they are most likely buried in Goodland Township Cemetery.
I have been unable to find anything on them, as Lapeer County late 1800’s records are hit or miss. I’ve been in contact with Goodland Township Cemetery, and have also been there. They have no records of them.
