MONTGOMERY -- Funeral services were held Thursday in Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery for Lester Branch, 50, who died in an Alexandria hospital Tuesday.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Survivors are his widow; a step-son, Johnny Dubois, and a son, Garth Branch, both of Houston; six sisters, Mrs. Odell Lemoine of Opelousas, Mrs. Verda Bonnette of West Monroe, and Mrs. Christine Gulledge, Mrs. Vera Bordelon, Mrs. Neda Rhodes, and Mrs. Esther Rhodes, all of Montgomery; and two brothers, Cargle Branch of Montgomery, and Hubert Branch of Baton Rouge.
