Murder Victim. Myrl was born in 1909, the daughter of John Emery and Lessie (Keller) Freeman. She married Frank Freeman and they had four children: Eugene, Floyd, Gerald and Mrs. Donald Goss. In November 1975, in a fit of rage, a 15-year-old boy stabbed Myrl over 70 times, killing the helpless 66-year-old lady. In December 1977, the young boy was convicted and sentenced to life in prision with possibility of parole after serving 20 years. In 2001, at the age of 42, he was released on parole. Myrl's children were horrified that he was released and felt justice had not been served in the murder of their mother. (bio by Whispers From The Grave)
