George was the husband of Catherine E (Gates) Glass 1853-1913

He was the son of Joseph Glass and Margaret (Troxell) Glass

George E. Glass, who died at his home in Beaver Valley on July 14th, in the fifty-sixth year of his age, was a son of Joseph and Margaret Glass, deceased, and was born at Fallen Timber. On July 5, 1870, he was married to Miss Catherine E. Gates, and shortly afterward started to clear the farm in White Township where he resided until the time of his death. Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Glass, eight of whom survive, viz: Mrs. Maggie Patterson, of Coalport; Misses Hannah, Julia, and Ida and Joseph, Adam, Fred and Harry, all at home. Three sisters and two brothers, residents of Reade and White Townships, also survive. Interment was made in Beaver Valley Cemetery.
