Wife of Alexander P. Delerio, QM SGT US ARMY, WORLD WAR I. Allie and Alexander are buried together.

Allie was born 1881 in Douglas County, MO. The daughter of Solomn Cox and Mary Frances Lyons.

Allie's older brother Samuel Mack Cox b March 8 1877 had married Hattie B Wilks. Samuel died March 29 1909 at the age of 32. From this union one daughter was born. Tressa Virginia Cox b. Dec 6 1899.
Tressa married Joseph Rue Amster in 1924 and for a short time lived in Olean, NY. They later moved to Wichata Falls TX to be closer to Tressa's family as her family grew.

Allie J's niece Tressa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Mary Frances Amster b March 26 1932. Three days later Tressa passed away due to pneumonia d March 29 1932 at the young age of 32.

Allie and Alexander lived close to Tressa and Joseph Amster and when Tressa passed away Allie and Alexander stepped in and took Tressa's newborn daughter and son Garry Joseph Amster who was 18 months older and cared for them as if they were their own.

My mother (Tressa's daughter) remembered living Allie and Alex, and had a very happy childhood. Due to Allie and Alexanders age they had to return the children to Joseph's sister Mary P Wilson. Both children were later moved to their cousins home in McKean Co PA.

This wonderful lady and her husband had no children of their own.

Thank you for being such a great mother to my mother, I give you all the credit for the fantastic mother she was.
