Yvonne Braddy Harrison was born in Wyoming as the family traveled from place to place during the depression a lot due to her father's job of minister. She was the 2nd of 3 children. Her parents were Rev. Tillman Ross Braddy Sr and Amanda Renspie Braddy. She was sister to her older sister Carol Braddy Brendal and younger brother Tillman Jr. Due to the hardships of seeminly endless travel, "The Great Depression" in the US at the time, little money and her father's inability to keep a job for very long, her parents seperated and then later divorced when she was young. Her mother re-married to Clinton Anglemire making him her Step-Fater for a few of her late teen years until a tragic car accident that he died in. Yvonne married US Army veteran Donald Monroe Harrison and they had two children Steve Harrison and Michele Harrison Godfrey. They lived in New Jersey. In her younger days Yvonne had the prettiest long dark black silky hair. She always had a pretty smile and expresive eyes that talked to you without her speaking.

She was survived by her children; son Steve Harrison, his wife and children, and her daughter Michelle Godfrey and her children Celest Godfrey and Forest Harrison, and her sister Carol. She was preceeded in death by her husband Don Harrison, and her parents Tillman Braddy Sr., and Amanda Renspie Braddy, and Step Father Clint Anglemire.
