Services for Effie Christine PATTERSON of Vian were held Monday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Vian Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Calvin Carlile officiating. Interment followed in the Round Mountain Cemetery near Vian under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow and Sallisaw. Mrs. PATTERSON was born Jan. 22, 1911, to the late Harry and Nannie WHITE MORGAN in Clarksville, Ark. She died at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., on Friday, Aug. 6, at the age of 71. Mrs. PATTERSON and her husband, William Franklin PATTERSON, were married July 20, 1928, in Vian. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, James and Leon; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita, Belle, Jackie, and Veotta; and two brothers, Johnny and Harry Jr.
