BEIDELMAN, William James Jr. was born May 20, 1819 in Whitehall Township, LeHigh County, Pennsylvania the son of Leonard Beidelman and Lydia Glick. He married Eliza Butz April 3, 1838 in Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois and they were the parents of ten children, Amelia M. (Frederick Long), Benjamin Leonard, William James III, Emeline (Peter Hoffman Saylor), Sylvester G., Albert C., Ella M., Alexander F., Urias B. and Hiram Victor. He was a stone and brick mason. He brought his family to Naperville about 1847. He was raised a Master Mason June 13, 1854. He died March 13, 1877 in Downers Grove, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
