On Monday evening, Mrs. Jacob Mahloch suffered an unexpected death. Mr. and Mrs. Mahloch were visiting in the afternoon with their son, Carl in Rockville, and towards evening they were brought to Baumann's, on the edge of Kiel, from their they decided to walk home. When they got close to the flour mill of the Kiel Grain and Milling Co., Mrs. Mahloch suddenly became ill. As she could not go any further, she and her husband sat down on a piece of cord wood on the side of the street. Her circumstances became worse and in a few minutes she died. The doctor, who was called could only confirm her death, that it was due to a heart attack. Her body was brought to the house where she had a few hours earlier had left in good health. It was unsettling news for her relatives and friends of her sudden death. Mrs. Mahloch had reached the age of 57 years, 10 months and 8 days. Until two years ago they lived in Rockville on the farm that their son, Carl owns. Besides her husband she is survived by several adult children.
The burial will take place this morning with Father Schmitz officiating.

Death Mon. evening last week of Mrs. Jakob Maloch in Kiel on her way home from a short walk. She had left the house to walk toward the mill dam and fell unconscious to the ground. Her husband, Jakob Maloch, went to join her and found her body. Maloch is an old veteran, and they had formerly lived on a farm near Kiel before he retired about 2 yrs. ago. Each is about 65 and they have a number of children and grandchildren
