Mass of Christian Burial for Hilda Margaret (Becker) Sicking, age 99 of Muenster, is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary and vigil will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the church. Mrs. Sicking died Sunday, June 12, 2016.
One of six children, Hilda was born March 23, 1917 in Muenster to Felix and Rosa (Hartman) Becker. She married Joe H. Sicking on August 29, 1946 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They became the proud parents of eight children.
Hilda is survived by: daughters: Dolores and husband, Johnny Stark of Irving, Ann Sicking of Arlington, Rose Sicking of Arlington, Sharon and husband, Darrell Swirczynski of Kyle, TX; sons: Robert Sicking of Arlington, Chris Sicking of Muenster, and Joseph Sicking of Gainesville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Marie Sicking of Muenster; sisters-in-law: Bernice Sicking of Myra, Georgie Sicking of Kaycee, WY, and Carolyn Sicking of Laurens, South Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Felix and Rosa (Hartman) Becker, husband Joe H. Sicking, daughter, Eileen Sicking; brothers: Walter, Vincent, and Leo Becker; and sisters, Irene Becker and Ida Hoenig.
Pallbearers are Joe Stark, Colton Swirczynski, Chris Wolf, Darrell Swirczynski, Johnny Stark and Carl Sicking.
