Leo was born in Muenster, Tx to Felix and Rosa Hartman Becker. He was the third son and sixth of seven children born to the family. He was a farmer all of his adult life. He served in the armed forces from 1949 to 1951. After his return to Muenster he resumed farming and even joined the B-29 Softball team that was sponsored by Johnny Schmitz.
Leo is survived by his siblings and spouses: Hilda and Joe Sicking, Rose and Alois Sicking, Vincent and Sandy Becker and Ida Mae Hoenig. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Walter, and sister Irene and a brother-in-law Alphonse Hoenig.

Leo was Corporal inducted January 28, 1949. He served in Okinawa. Recalled to Red River Reserves and served Korea & Japan.
