" Sarah E. Brandt, 55, Freeburg, died Sunday, Oct. 10 (1976) while enroute to a Columbia hospital. She was formerly an employee of the Langenberg Hat Company at Vienna. She was born Feb. 28, 1921, at DeSoto, the daughter of Earl and Bertha Jaeschke Lester. She was married July 28, 1958 at Humboldt, Iowa to Alvis Brandt who died in 1974.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Sansoucie, Festus; two half-brothers, Ernest Jopp of Arnold; and Albert Jaeschke, St. Louis; one half-sister, Mrs. Ann Hamel, DeSoto.
Services were held Tuesday at the Morton Chapel in Lin with the Rev. Walter Derkening officiating. burial was in the Liberty Cemetery, Belle.";
