MUENSTER - Alfred Gilbert "Al" Luttmer, 72, a road maintenance worker, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at home.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Muenster.

Officiating: the Rev. Thomas Craig. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery in Muenster. Rosary: 4 p.m. with vigil at 7 p.m. Thursday at McCoy Funeral Home.

Alfred Luttmer was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Muenster.

He was a roughneck and pumper for L.W. Powell Oil Co. for 12 years and later an employee of Cooke County Precinct No. 3 for 17 years.

Survivors: Sister, Bernice Luttmer Beyer of Gainesville; brothers, Henry Luttmer and Wilfred Luttmer, both of Muenster, and Walter and Helen Luttmer of Lindsay; several nieces and nephews; and an aunt and uncle.
