OBITUARY
"Resident Of Seventeen Years Dies Suddenly ------
Mrs. Elizabeth Sloper, Mother of Four Daughters, Passes at Charleston Home -------
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sloper died at her home at 1262 Second street, Charleston, Monday, November 30. She had been ill only about a week, having contracted a cold at that time, which became serious and eventually caused her death.
Mrs. Sloper was born in Indiana seventy-two years ago, and came to Bremerton with her husband and children seventeen years ago. She has resided in Bremerton and Charleston ever since, and has made many friends who loved her for her kindly disposition and interest in the welfare of others.
Her husband, E. Sloper, died about a year ago.
Funeral services will be conducted from Lewis chapel, Wednesday afternoon, December 3, at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in Ivy Green cemetery.
Mrs. Sloper is survived by four daughters: Mrs. William Dollard, Mrs. C. L. King, Mrs. T. J. Bell and Miss Minnie A. Sloper."
