Caralee Gordon, May 9, 1939 - April 22, 1998, Caralee GORDON, 58, Van Wert, Ohio, died 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert. Born in Rochester to Robert WELLER and Oneita LOWE BARTHOLOMEW, she married James D. GORDON on July 17, 1956. He survives.
Mrs. Gordon was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald M. and wife Joy GORDON and Forest L. and wife Toni GORDON, all of Van Wert, Ohio; one daughter, Lori A. and husband Tim WALTZ, Van Wert, Ohio; three brothers, Randy WELLER. Kansas, Ohio, Dave WELLER, Florida, and Brent BARTHOLOMEW, Muncie; one sister, Mrs. Janice NELSON, Leiters Ford; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy [GORDON] and James GORDON.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Stainfield Memorial Home, Convoy Ohio. Rev. William E. HANLIN will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
