DONNELLAN, Francis Leo Age 84 years, of Middleboro, formerly longtime resident of Framingham, died on Thurs., April 2, 2009, surrounded by his family, at the Shore Shore Hospital, Weymouth, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Anne P (Flynn) Donnellan; they had been married for 57 years. Born in Webster, MA; November 20, 1924, he was the son of the late Frank and Katheryn (Mason) Donnellan. He was educated and raised in Oxford, MA, and later lived in Framingham, for 48 years, before moving to Middleboro. He was a WWII Veteran, serving with the 107th Medical Evacuation Hospital Unit, with the United States Army. He had worked for the Raytheon Company, in Sudbury, MA, for 31 years, as an administrator. He will be warmheartedly remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Anne, of 57 years, three sons; William and his wife Victoria Donnellan of Patomac, MD, Mark Donnellan of Walpole, MA, James and his wife Kathleen Donnellan of Gansevooet, NY, three daughters; Maryanne Colgan of Newton, Kathleen and her husband Steven Hocheiser of Holliston, and Patrice and her husband Ravi Ravindra of Columbia, SC, three sisters; Jane Flynn of Grafton, MA, Ann Hogan, Vern Szustkiewicz, both of Holyoke, MA, 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Lady of Our Lake Church, Halifax, on Mon. April 6th at 9 am, followed by the burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held on Sun. from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St Middleboro.
