Alexander Scott, 93, of Thornton died Dec. 14. Services were Dec. 18 in Thornton United Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Scott, a native of Paulina, Iowa, was a retired stationary engineer. He was an elder of Thornton United Presbyterian Church and a deacon at Denver United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Zula; a son, Roger of Thornton; a daughter, Janet Runquist of Aurora; eight grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren.
