Effie May Peregrine, 76, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Sunday, July 14, in the Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Peregrine had been an Indianapolis resident for the past 10 years, formerly of Rensselaer and Hobart, Ind.
A member of the Lawrence United Methodist Church of Indianapolis, formerly of the First United Methodist Church of Hobart, and a member of Nola Rebekah Lodge of Indianapolis.
Survivors: two daughters, Judy M. (Ray) Peregrine Woodruff Musick, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Sharon Peregrine (Byron) Johnson, of Waco, Texas; one brother, Elmer (Mary) Ball of Lake Wales, Fla. She was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence L. Peregrine, son, Michael William Peregrine and brother, Roy R. Ball.
Memorial contributions may be given to Visiting Nurses Association - Mary E. Bartz Hospital Unit.
Funeral services are today, at 1 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Ind. with Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Baunoch officiating. Burial will be in the Hobart Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
