Ralph Finley Painter,76, of Templeton RD 1 (Boggs Township) died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
Mr. Painter was a retired coal mine motorman and was employed by Wallwork Coal Company. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America at Mosgrove.
Born March 21, 1895 at Mosgrove, he was a son of George and Ida (Reed) Painter.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Jane (Farster) Painter; four daughters, Mrs. Clair (Alberta) Barlett of Aliquippa. Mrs. Howard (June) Zerbe of St. Petersburg, Lois Painter of Kittanning, Mrs. Gene (Pearl) Paine of Templeton RD 1; two sons, Everett of Rural Valley, George of Templeton RD 1; two brothers, William of Templeton and Merle of Erie; 11 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. One son is deceased.
PAINTER - Friends of Ralph Finley Painter, who died Saturday, Aug. 21. 1971, will be received at the
Merwin-Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning, where service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev, Charles E. Strater, pastor of the First Church of God, Kittanning. Burial will be in Mateer Cemetery. Arrangements by Merwin-Kennedy.
