PETER KLAUCK 1900
Again the grim reaper has taken another of our honored citizens in death from his family. Tuesday morning at 11:30, Mrs. Peter Klauck died after a three week illness of thphus and lung infection. The deceased was well known in the area, because for the past twelve years he was the agent for the Conrad Schreier Co. of Sheboygan. Prior to that he worked at the Kiel Woodenware as a delivery man.
Peter Klauck was born in town Mequon, Ozaukee County on May 23, 1858 and had reached the age of 42 years. About 17 years ago he married his now grieving wife who was born a Tipperden and the eight children the marriage produced, of whom six children are still living who mourn their father. Additionally he is survived by nine brothers, namely John, Frank, Matthias, Joseph, Nicholas, Henry, August, Wilhelm and Bernhard and three sisters, Maggie, Mary and Minna.
The burial took place in Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Catholic Church and at the Holy Catholic Cemetery with Father M. Schmitz officiating. Members of the Catholic Knights of which the deceased was a member, carried him to his final rest.
