Isabelle C.F. Berrett
Mrs. Isabelle Caroline Ford Berrett, 82, of Magna, formerly of Pleasant View, died Monday at a Salt Lake City Hospital of causes incident to age. Mrs. Berrett was born in Washington, Washington County, Feb 3, 1868, a daughter of Alfred and Matilda Rasmussen Ford. An active member of the L.D.S. church, she was a Relief Society work director in Pleasant View for many years, a Visiting Teacher and President of the Pleasant View Ward Primary. She was also married to Richard E. Berrett in North Ogden and later received their Endowments in the Salt Lake City Endowment House.
Surviving are her husband and the following sons and daughters: Edward Berrett, Pleasant View; Leon F. Berrett, LaCanada, Calif; Lloyd Berrett, Roy; Floyd Berrett and Mrs. James P. (Hazel) Jones, Magna and Mrs. W.A. (Mary) Hughes, South Gate, Calif., 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Thursday at two P.M. in the L.D.S. North Ogden Ward by Bishop Rueben Rhees of the L.D.S. Pleasant View Ward. Burial will be in North Ogden Cemetery directed by the mortuary, 836, Thirty-sixth.
