GORDON - At the residence of his parents, Ross Street, Woodville, on March 15th, Roy, eldest son of Mr and Mrs C. Gordon; aged 22 years and 11 months
The funeral will leave the residence of his parents for the Woodville cemetery to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Pbituary A young life came to a sad end early this morning, when Roy Gordon, eldest son of Mr and Mrs C. Gordon, died at the residence of his parents in Ross street. The deceased, who was just within a week or so of 23 years og age, had been ailing off and on for some considerable time and although the insidious nature of his ailment left but little hope of ultimate recovery, the end was no less distressing and deplorable. For about eight years he was employed on this paper and by his associates on the staff, as well as by all who knew him, he was esteemed. With the relatives the deepest sympathy will be felt, a sympathy that may in some small degree alleviate their sorrow and affliction.
