Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Olivet M.B. Church with Pastor Perry
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Westbrooks Funeral Home of
Okolona is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Gillespie and James Gillespie, both of
Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Lillie Mae Haynes of Okolona; a granddaughter,
Ingrid Dillard of the home; a great-grandson, Jamal Gillespie of the home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The body will
lie in state at the church one hour before services.
