Woodville Examiner, 8 March 1912
We have to report the death of Mr Henry Goff which occurred at his residence in the Village Settlement on Wednesday evening at 6.30. The deceased had been ailing from an internal trouble for the past twelve months and his death was not unexpected. Deceased was 55 years of age and has been a resident of the district for about 30 years. He leaves a wife and a grown up family to whom we express our deep sorrow in their sad loss. The funeral took place this afternoon, the Rev Canon Eccles officiating at the graveside. The deceased was one of the oldest members of the local Forrester's Court and a number of the members of the Court attended the funeral. P.C.R. Bro. W. Mathieson read the Foresters' burial service.
