Jacob J. Henschel, 85, of 1033 Seventh St., Kiel, died early today at St. Nicholas Hospital.
A native of the town of Russell, he was born Feb. 3, 1886, a son of the late Louis and Louise Buchmann Henschel. On May 9, 1908 he married the former Ida Klauck of Kiel. Mr. Henschel was an employe of Stoelting Bros. Co., retiring in 1954. Mrs. Henschel died July 4, 1965. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel; the Kiel Redmen Lodge and the 24-hour Club of the lodge.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Aurelia Nilles of Kiel and Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Mertens of Milwaukee; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Rocklus of Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be at Meiselwitz funeral Home with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter UCC officiating. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Kiel.
