Mrs. Jacob Henschel, 77, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack Sunday evening at her home, 1033 7th St., Kiel. The former Ida Klauck was born near Kiel on June 11, 1888, the daughter of the late John Klauck and Kunegunde Winter Klauck. She attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Kiel and she was a member of that parish.
Her marriage to Mr. Henschel of Town of Russell took place on May 9, 1908. The couple observed their golden weddinganniversary in 1958.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Aurelia) Nilles of Kiel and Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Mertens, Milwaukee; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Ann Klauck, Mrs. Joseph Schnur and Mrs. Harry Bohnsack, all of Sheboygan and two brothers, Edward Klauck of New Holstein and Arthur Klauck, Kiel. Funeral services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. George Kiefer, pastor, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Brief rites at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel at 10:45 will precede the Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services. The parish rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 this evening.
