Mrs. Elizabeth Hartmann, aged 54, widow of the late Joseph Hartmann of the town of Rhine, passed away at the St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan Saturday morning, following a month's illness.
The deceased was born in Austria-Hungary on September 16, 1878 as Elizabeth Mueller; she came to Wisconsin in 1910 and was married that November. The couple located on a farm in the town of Rhine, and resided there until Mr. Hartmann's death on February 16, 1942, after which she sold her farm last fall and moved to the Anna M. Reiss Home in Sheboygan, where she had spent the last three months.
Surviving is a brother, Michael Mueller of Madison.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 10 o'clock services were held at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, with the Rev. F.X.Kheil officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
