John Haback(sic) Dies Friday At Hospital
Funeral services for John Haback, 81, were held Monday morning from
S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In charge of the Rev. F.X. Khell.
Mr. Haback died at St. Nicholas hospital Friday morning.
He was born October 18, 1871 at Richfield. He came to Schleswig township
when he was seven years of age to make his home with the Fred Broeckert
family.
He married Margaret Weber, September 22, 1908, and the couple made their
home in Kiel. He was employed at the A. A. Laun Furniture factory. Mrs.
Haback died in 1943.
He was a member of the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Holy
Name society.
Survivors include one brother, Adam of Mayville.
