Mrs. Walter J. (Denny) Graf, 53, of 615 Fremont St., Kiel, died Saturday at Toth Nursing Home, Chilton. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. A concelebrated Mass will be offered by the Rev. George Kiefer and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Graf, nee Marie Maltby, was born Sept. 8, 1915, at Stockbridge, daughter of the late Grover Maltby and Mrs. Ella Wingers Maltby. She was educated in Chilton schools and was graduated from Chilton High School in 1933. She was married April 10, 1939, to Walter Graf and the couple operated Denny's Center Tavern.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers, GUG, Germania Society, and a charter member of the Yellow Bird Council of Pochahontas.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Sue Ann) Reichwald, Kiel, three sons, Brother Michael, OFM, Cap., Crown Point, Ind., James, Apleton, and Charles, a student at Lakeshore Technical Institure, Sheboygan; her mother, Mrs. Ella Maltby, who lives at New Holstein; two sisters, Mrs. James Trass, Appleton and Mrs. George Duecker, Sheboygan; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where at 8 p.m. there will be a vigil.
