Marie Loden Carroll, 88, died Thursday, December 22, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. She had worked in garment plants in Nettleton and Amory. She was the widow of Gilbert "Pete" Carroll, who died in 1973. She was the daughter of Alfred and Lillian Sheffield Loden.

Servies will be at 2 p.m. today at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Wesley Kingsley, Willis Miller and Thomas Tapley officiating. Burial will be in the Wiygul Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, John Carroll of Fulton; one daughter, Nelva Lee Johnson of Tupelo; one sister Evie Nanney of Tremont; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; her special care givers, Amy and Wesley Kingsley.

Her grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
