He was a life long resident of Itawamba County and a retired farmer. He was a member
of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Senter Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Z.I.
Barnes and the Rev. Caster Buse officiating. Burial was in the Walton Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Loden of Mantachie; two daughters, Mildred Moore
and Ellen Clayton, both of Mantachie; four sons, Hoyle Loden of Fair Point, NY,
Hubert Loden and Alfred Loden, both of Mantachie, Joe Loden of Plantersville;
three sisters, Martha Benefield of Fulton, Marie Carroll of the Evergreen Community,
Evie Nanney of Tremont; one brother, Quitman Loden of Booneville; 13 grandchildren,
10 great-grandchilden, one great-great-granddaughter.
