Frank Garber Adams, 82, of Route 5, Harrisonburg died Wednesday at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Adams was born April 3, 1906, near Dayton and was a son of the late Medford H. and Mary Etta "Mollie" Garber Adams. He lived in Staunton for 40 years and had been living in Rockingham County since 1970.

He was a meat cutter and salesman, and a member of Faith Bible Church.

On Jan. 17, he married the former Margaret Landes, who survives.

Also surviving are four children, Miller Harold Adams of Albuqueque, N.M., Dorothy Jean Heffington of Virginia Beach, Betty Thompson of Bridgewater and Larry Franklin Adams of Staunton; two stepchildren, Leanah Myers Cloud of Route 1, Harrisonburg and Daniel J. Myers of Harrisonburg; a brother, David M. Adams of Mount Crawford; eight grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the Faith Bible Church by the Rev. Mark Carderelli. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Bridgewater.

The family will receive friends 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. today at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family said contributions may be made to the Faith Bible Church, P.O. Box 206, Mount Crawford, 22841
