Rites Held Monday For Mrs. A. Gellings
Funeral services were held Monday morning from S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic church for Mrs. Alois Gellings, 70, who died at her home here Friday morning. She had been ill several months.
The rites were conducted by the Rev. F.X. Kheil and burial was made in the church cemetery.
She was born October 3, 1882, in the town of Schleswig. Her father's name was Fred Broeckert and her mother's maiden name was Catherine Loos. May 10, 1921 she was married to Alois Gellings and they operated a farm in the town of Eaton until their retirement six years ago, when they moved to this city.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, one grandson, Alfred; and two brothers, William Broeckert, rural route, Kiel, and Ed Broeckert of St. Nazianz. Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
