Dennis W. Dorn, 62, died Thursday evening, November 6, 2008 at Homestead Care Center, New Holstein where he resided the past ten years. He was born
September 4, 1946 in Appleton, son of the late Francis & Monica Koehler Dorn. Dennis attended Longfellow School in Sheboygan. On August 18, 1992 he got married in Chilton. Dennis worked for the Holiday House and New Hope Center and also crafted rag rugs & mats. He always was a self-proclaimed computer programmer. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
Dennis enjoyed working with his computer, playing with his favorite pet, his cat, Cupcake & playing games, especially monopoly. He had a strong sense of family and enjoyed spending time with them. One his fondest memories in his life was meeting Gene Autry at the age of 8.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Anthony Francis Dorn and niece, Michelle Burg-Vogel. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th. St. Kiel with Rev. Loren Nys S.D.S. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
