1917 - Hubert Dorn
On Saturday morning at the hospital in Milwaukee, Mr. Hubert Dorn from Town New Holstein died following surgery on his head.
The young man was the 29-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Erhard Dorn. He had worked for many years as a cheese maker for Mr. C. A. Bahr at the Walsdorf Factory. He had been married for only 10 months.
His young wife, his parents and siblings survive him.
The coffin arrived her on Saturday evening. On Wednesday morning it was taken to the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where Father Rumpel officiated at the funeral service and the burial in the church cemetery. The numerous mourners were sad to loose such a young man. "Our sympathies."
