Peter Dorn Sr., 69, of Rt. 2, Kiel, died Saturday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. George Kiefer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dorn was born July 18, 1898, at St. Anna, son of the late Erhard and Katherine Uerligs Dorn. He married Bernadine Walsdorf of the Town of New Holstein at St. Anna and the couple farmed in the township. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Catholic Knights.
Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Sister M. Lucy, SOF, of Holy Family College, Sister M. Marie Bernadette of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Wayne (Bernadette) Engelman of Sheboygan, Mrs. Peter (Jane) Salm of Fargo N.D., and Miss Patricia of Sheboygan; three sons, Peter Jr., of Rt. 1, New Holstein, James of Rt. 2, Elkhart Lake, and Patrick of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hartman of Rt. 1, New Holstein, Sister M. Seraphia of Mundelien, Ill., and Sister M. Ladeline of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, the Rev. Frederick Dorn of Sioux City, Iowa, and John of Rt. 2, New Holstein, and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
