Mrs. Guest was a native of Elbert County and was the daughter of the late William Robert "Bud" Ruff and Zada Mae Fortson Ruff. She was the widow of R.E. Guest. She was a member of the Falling Creek Baptist Church and had retired from Elberton Mfg.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Guest Cartledge of Gastonia, N.C., and Louise Guest Denard of Tignall; a son, John Robert Guest of Elberton; two sisters, Jenelle Fulbright and Martha Jo Haynes, both of Elberton; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Dan Jones, Don Jones, Dennis Moss, Allen Burt Ruff, Norris Ruff, and Robert Neil Bell.
