Graveside services for Elna Louise Ruff Guest, 91, of Elberton were held Monday, July 25, 2005, at Falling Creek Baptist Church, Elbert County, with Rev. Jack McVeigh officiating. She died Saturday, July 23, at the Elbert Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Guest was a native of Elbert County and was the daughter of the late William Robert "Bud" Ruff and Zada Mae Fortson Ruff. She was the widow of R.E. Guest. She was a member of the Falling Creek Baptist Church and had retired from Elberton Mfg.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Guest Cartledge of Gastonia, N.C., and Louise Guest Denard of Tignall; a son, John Robert Guest of Elberton; two sisters, Jenelle Fulbright and Martha Jo Haynes, both of Elberton; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Dan Jones, Don Jones, Dennis Moss, Allen Burt Ruff, Norris Ruff, and Robert Neil Bell.
Berry Funeral Home of Elberton was in charge of arrangements.
