Elizabeth was the daughter of Sophie L. Schoff and Wilbur W. Gregg.
She was the wife of Albert C. Barley and the mother of one son, Larry Barley, and four daughters: Mrs. Dennis Martin of Lansing,Mich., Miss Betsy Barley of New York, New York, Mrs. Richard Beasley of Petoskey, Mich. and Mrs. John (Gail) Nowak of of Grand Rapids, Mich. Also surviving were one sister, Mrs. Walter King of Lansing, Mich., and 8 grandchildren.

Rosary services were at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral Mass Saturday, Oct. 9, 1976 at 10:30 am at St Patrick's Church in Portland, Mich. Burial Portland Cemetery.

A.C. Barley was the owner of the Barley-Earhart Company on Divine Hwy in Portland. The building was built by the village of Portland for the Ramsey-Alton Furniture Company and was purchased by Mr. Barley in the 1940's. Mr and Mrs Barley resided at 300 Barley Ave. in Portland, Mich.

(Mrs. Barley was a beautiful, kind and gracious lady-Marilynn Johnson).
