Long-time resident of Oklahoma City, Sherry Diane Robertson, born August 7, 1938 in Ardmore, OK, passed into eternal life on March 28, 2009 after a courageous struggle to overcome complications after heart surgery. Deeply devoted to her husband and children, she was a delightful woman who loved the Lord and loved her family. She worked as a surgical nurse at St. Anthony hospital in Oklahoma City during the 60s and 70s.
Surviving family include husband, Alfred E. Robertson, OKC mother, Edith J. Carruth, Shawnee brother, Thomas B. Carruth, Jr., OKC sister, Patricia A. Carruth-Durrett, Edmond son, Anthony Gene Stephens, Tonasket, WA daughter, Gay Lynn Stephens, OKC son, Terry Scott Stephens, OKC daughter, Erica Lee Sillivan, OKC son, David Benjamin Ringer, Tulsa son, Jerald Paul Ringer, OKC nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Diane is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Brandon Carruth, Sr. brother, Darryl Carruth son, William Ray Stephens grandparents, C.D. and Mattie Williams and Thomas Benjamin and Maude Carruth.
Her graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
