Donald Kees Sr., 63, of Worthington, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2009 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.

Donald was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Ashland, a son of the late Kenneth and Mary Lucas Kees. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Esther Tackett Kees.

He was a former driver for PTI in Worthington.

Surviving are two daughters, Denise Lynn Hensley of Charleston, Ind., and Gina Renee Boggs of Ironton, Ohio; one son, Donald Kees Jr. of Flatwoods, Ky.; one sister, Ethel Conley of North Carolina; one brother, Robert Corkey Kees of Oak Hill, W.Va.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky., by Randy Crisp. Burial will be in the Caroline Cemetery in Raceland.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
