Mrs. Guise a daughter of Benjamin and Rebecca Miller, deceased, was a member of the Ground Oaks Lutheran Church since girlhood.For many years she sang on the choir there and was a leading worker in various activities conducted by the church and Sunday school. Since the death of her husband, Jeremiah Guise, she had lived with her son.
Three sons and daughters survive her; Mrs. Willian Hassler, of York Springs, Mrs C.C. Snydeman of Bethlehem; Mrs H.S. Lerew York Springs, William Guise RD 1, Mrs. A.E Hoffman, Gardners RD 1; J.B. Guise RD 1, twenty-five grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral Friday morning meeting at the house of J.B. Guise at 9:30 o'clock services at Ground Oak Church conducted by her pastor Rev. H.H. Flick. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
