1877 - John born 15 Aug, most probably in a place that is now Horoshova, Borshchiv, Ternopil, Ukraine but at the time was located in the south-eastern part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now part of western Ukraine. Parents Michael Dorchuck [1848-1935] and Anna (Maran) Dorchuck [1851-1921].

1901 - Marriage #1 to Mary Danka Olynyk on 2 Feb in Franklin, Manitoba, Canada. Mary born 1886, which would make her age 14-15 when married (supported by both headstone and 1910 census). Her place of birth was probably in the same area as John, as the 1910 census lists both as born “Austria-Russia”.
