Services for Mrs. Lillian Beigel were held on November 23, 1988, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Winslow, Arizona. Gerald Beigel, her grandson, of St. Bede Catholic Church in Hayworth, California, as Celebrant. Mrs. Beigel passed away in the Winslow Memorial Hospital Saturday, November 19, 1988, after a long illness.

Mrs. Beigel, the former Lillian Cummins, was born in Kentucky March 17, 1903. She lived in Onawa, Iowa, before moving to Ashfork, Arizona, in 1942, where she operated the Dew Drop Inn Restaurant and later the Arizona Café. She moved to Winslow in 1957, and was employed at the Winslow Memorial Hospital as a cook.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Betty Griffith of Winslow and Mrs. Peg Dickerson of Ashfork; 2 sons, Wayne Beigel of Steubenville, Ohio, and Dan Beigel of San Antonio, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Margaret Lynn Cummins, her husband John Beigel in 1939, a son John J. Beigel in 1934 and nine brothers and sisters.
