John (Zabah) Zarbs was born in Greece in 1860. He immigrated in 1875 and eventually settled in Baltimore, MD. He married Mary Hetmanski/Stein from Germany and they had 11 children, 8 who lived to adulthood: Florence, Helen, Frank, George, Peter, Amelia, Andrew and Catherine. John is buried next to his wife, Mary and two sons, George & Peter. A short distance away is his grandson, Joseph Schrack, Sr., and in the Poplar Section, his son Frank is buried with his family.
