Howard L. "Butch" Adams, age 59, born in Dayton on Dec. 22, 1941 died unexpectedly on July 2, 2001 while in town visiting.
He lived with his family in Houston, TX for the past 26 years.
Butch attended Ruskin Elementary, Roosevelt High School and graduated from Roth High School in 1961.
He worked for South Park Tool & Die before moving to Texas.
Mr. Adams is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carol (Waterhouse); 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Julie & Barry Barentine and Kathy & Steve Congram; 5 grandchildren: Adam, Alyssa and Allison Barentine, Meagan and Sarah Congram all of Houston, TX; sister & brother-in-law, Cheryl & Ron Watson of Vandalia; sister, Vicki Corliss of Dayton and a host of other family and friends.
