Sophronia J. Dedman was born in Mercer County, KY, August 27, 1840 and died May 12, 1907 aged 66 years 8 months and 19 days. Married to J. P. Robards of Woodford County, KY March 29, 1860 who died January 25, 1888. Eleven children were born, six are deceased. Survivors are Robert S. of Oklahoma; Mrs. Mollie J. Mosley of Clay Co., Mrs. Sue O. Berry, Charles M. and Mattie J. Thomas of Noble. Four brothers John H., P. P., Linn and Dixon Dedman of Kentucky. They moved to Richland County in 1870.
